Our Dachshund pups are near and dear to our hearts and as such, we take the placement of them very seriously.
Each prospective family is required to fill out a puppy application or engage in a telephone call with myself to help me to get to know each prospective family and what pup might “fit” their home. All of our pups are socialized and handled from day one, and as such, we know each and every pup inside and out. With that in mind, please understand that it is our responsibility to place each pup according to their personality and your responses on your puppy application or telephone call will assist with this. Each pup will have a puppy series of shots, worming, will be micro-chipped, registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, and be well socialized and used to routine activities. Puppies will not be available to their new homes until they are a minimum of eight-twelve weeks of age. All Companion puppies are sold on a non breeding contract and require proof of spay or neutering at the appropriate age. Occasionally I will place show prospects on a co-ownership or sell outright to other reputable breeders that show their dachshunds and are also working to better the breed. All puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee against all genetic and congenital defects that would render it functionally unsound. Code of Practice for CKC Member Breeders E.C.D.C.
